CLUBS

Life at Marlborough House doesn't finish with the end of lessons. A bewildering range of clubs and extras at each level provides our children with an enviable choice of additional activities.

Ballet is offered to all including the very youngest children but dance options also include modern and tap dance all taught by specialist staff in a 'studio' dedicated to dance and drama.

The broad sports curriculum is further supplemented outside school hours. Mini-tennis and judo are very popular with younger children and indoor hockey and cricket nets are just two clubs from a very full programme for older pupils. The availability of a warm and well-lit Sports hall for these activities is crucial in ensuring their popularity on dark winter evenings! Rifle shooting, at our own range, remains a much coveted extra.

A comprehensive choice of clubs for children aged 8 and over is offered by staff and more unusual options include astronomy (we have our own telescope and small observatory) and sailing at nearby Bewl Water. During Summer evenings the children thrive on making the most of the fabulous grounds.

Whether children are pursuing an interest already established, trying something completely new or making their own entertainment, they always look like they're having fun!
