We believe our staff are our greatest resource

That is why we are committed to recruiting the very best teachers to benefit pupil experience in the classroom.  Support staff too, across their diverse roles, are selected for the quality of the skills they can bring to improving the service the school provides.  This combination of teaching excellence and a happy and supportive learning environment gives each child at MHS confidence, determination and a genuine will to succeed.

We talk a lot here about our school values; ‘valuing self and others’.  We value our staff very highly and believe it is critical to invest in them.  We nurture a culture of personal and professional development and offer our staff both in-house and external opportunities for training and progression, not to mention the chance to join our fabulous staff choir.

To retain talent we always try to promote from within, however we also recognise the importance of fresh ideas and teaching methods.  With that in mind, please find below our current vacancies.

If you don’t see a vacancy in your area of expertise but believe you are an inspirational and dynamic teacher with the ability to unlock the potential in every child, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us as we are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team.  Additionally, we hold a register of local supply teachers so do let us know if you would like to be considered for inclusion on our supply list.
