Clubs
Club activities are wide-ranging and very popular at MHS, with the added bonus for parents that many incur no additional cost.
Ballet, mini-tennis and judo are available for both boys and girls from Pre-Prep age and are always very well attended. Children continue to choose from a similar range of clubs as they move into the Prep school but from the age of 8 the variety of clubs available expands greatly.
Children have the choice to stay on until 7.00pm for activities such as cooking, textiles, drama, fencing, craft & construction, badminton, and indoor hockey, to name but a few. Year 8 children are given the option to undertake a sailing course at Bewl Water in the summer term.
Whatever their age or particular interests, children here always seem keen to make the most of the opportunities they are given for club activities and it is really good to see how much they, and the staff, get out of this time at school away from the classroom.
