We know that for many parents, getting homework completed each evening can be the hardest part of the day. At Marlborough House a child's first experience of 'homework' in the Pre-Prep will be taking first reading then spellings home with them.
As children move into Years 3 and 4 there are also tables and arithmetic, although work does not usually exceed 30 minutes each day; we try to ensure a gradual build-up in what is expected.
From the age of 9, boys and girls stay each evening to complete two 25 minute subject 'Preps' at school. This approach benefits children and parents and, crucially, provides 'family time' for you after school has ended.
