On Tuesday 28th January, the Gym was transformed as Year 3 took part in Ancient Greek market trading, voting, a procession, augury, a mini Olympics and a Greek play. The visiting theatre company was interactive and really brought Ancient Greece to life. 

The children had the opportunity to look at historical artefacts, try on armour and carve out their own mini versions of the 'Elgin Marbles'.

Sophie P in 3C commented, 'It was great. The bit I liked most was when we dressed up and had to haggle with each other at the stalls!' The children had a fabulous time, learning through first hand experiences. A day to remember!
