Year 2 have been learning about the Great Fire of London this term and made Tudor buildings to complete the topic. They took their houses outside and set up a street scene as in London Town in 1666. Then the children watched with anticipation as the fire spread from house to house. They felt empathy for the people who lost their houses in the fire as they had put so much work into building their own.
