Year 7 Activity trip

The Year 7s had an excellent two days of adventure and team building activities at PGL, Windmill Hill.

The purpose of the trip was to give the pupils of Year 7 the opportunity to experience an overnight residential stay, where they would have the chance to bond as a year group through taking part in team building activities. The children certainly achieved this and had a great time learning to work collaboratively throughout the day, before relaxing together during the evening and downtime activities.

The year group took part in lots of exciting activities, including a zip wire, challenge course, raft building, the 'big swing' and archery.

The pupils have definitely shown many of the core PSB skills we work towards here at MHS. Seeing the children communicate clearly and respectfully with each other to successfully complete the challenge course and giving motivational chats to each other when the nerves kicked in at the big swing was heart-warming to see. They all showed exemplary behaviour, with the centre's staff commenting on how they were the most polite, well-behaved and fun group they have had in ages!
