The Year 2 children had written a special adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears which they read to their Reception buddies. The buddy system is something we try to do most years as it gives the children a familiar face in the playground and, during the term, they come together to share a story or play a game. Soon it will be the turn of the Year 1 children who are going to be given buddies in Year 3.  

Very often the children become good friends and they’ve been known to keep in touch for many years.
