We gathered on Armistice Day for our Act of Remembrance.
Mr Newton read a poem which was followed by a two-minute silence. Very well done to all the children who stood respectfully, remembering those who had fallen. Eliza F and Benjamin L laid a wreath at school, while Phoebe M and Robert M laid a wreath at the Hawkhurst War Memorial on behalf of the school.
Reception baked and decorated some poppy biscuits and did some beautiful pictures using silhouettes of soldiers to mark the occasion.
