Year 6 have been using the Turkish Map Fold technique to feature work that they have made in response to looking at Islamic Art.
They explored geometric tiles, Mosque architecture and Islamic metalware, culminating in three original paintings which were then copied and folded between decorative book covers.
The books are lovely to hold and work as decorations, as well as individual artworks.
