U10A Girls' Cricket Tournament Runners UP!

The U10A girls' Cricket team had a fabulous fun-filled, albeit slightly windy and cold day, of Cricket on Wednesday 12th May.

The team spirit and comradery shown by our U10A girls' team was commendable and, alongside their determination and cricket ability, these attributes meant they came in second place overall, beating many other Prep schools; Ashford Prep, Vinehall and Sutton Valance Prep. Olivia J and Mila W won some special ‘Champagne Moments’ trophies, Olivia for catching, stumping and bowling someone out all in the same game and Mila's trophy was for stopping a boundary ball that won the game!

There were many great catches taken throughout the tournament from Mila, Sophie O, Emma E and Olivia and wickets taken from some excellent bowling by Olivia and Lily-Belle D. When in bat, all the girls performed excellently, scoring many runs with their biggest win against Vinehall, where they scored 64. We are very proud of the girls, who are developing into a strong team now having success in both netball and Cricket.
