In December, Year 3 performed their Victorian Christmas Carol Concert, retelling parts of the Nativity and also including characters from Charles Dickens' ‘A Christmas Carol’.
Despite a few delays in preparing for the play due to illness, the children managed to put on an amazing performance and did themselves credit, speaking clearly and singing beautifully.
They enjoyed portraying characters from Victorian Britain and learnt about the work Dr Barnardo started during 19th Century. Very well done to them all.
A collection was made at the end of the play and £52.50 was raised for Barnardo’s, thank you to those who donated.
