About the role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic marketing professional to support our busy Marketing, Communications and Admissions department.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.  He or she will also be comfortable managing content across both traditional and digital media platforms, have excellent copywriting skills and creative flair.

Flexibility and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines are essential. Candidates with experience of working in an educational environment would be preferred, but this is not essential.

About Our School

In September 2025, two prestigious prep schools, Marlborough House and Vinehall will merge. The new school will be known as Marlborough House Vinehall and will operate on the existing Vinehall site, marking a significant development in independent education in the South-East.

Marlborough House Vinehall will offer an exceptional child-centred, individualised approach to education from ages 2 to 13. The School will provide a vibrant educational environment for both day and boarding pupils, with a curriculum designed to balance academic rigour with artistic, sporting and personal development. All staff at Marlborough House Vinehall are responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils for whom they are responsible or with whom they come into contact and are expected to adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s Safeguarding policy at all times.  If, in the course of carrying out the duties of the post, the postholder becomes aware of any actual or potential risk to the safety or welfare of children in the school, s/he must report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and requires all staff and volunteers to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

All staff have an important role to play in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Starting in September 2025, this role is a maternity cover position, and can be part-time or full-time.
