About the role

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher with a passion for their subject and a keen interest in developing children’s skills and enthusiasm. 

The successful candidate will inspire and promote their love of DT whilst encouraging a sense of fun and enjoyment of learning within the classroom.  The successful candidate will deliver weekly lessons to pupils in Years 4 to 8 and will be dedicated to furthering the development of the children in their charge, as well as advancing their own lifelong learning.

About Our School

In September 2025, two prestigious prep schools, Marlborough House and Vinehall will merge. The new school will be known as Marlborough House Vinehall and will operate on the existing Vinehall site, marking a significant development in independent education in the South-East.

Marlborough House Vinehall will offer an exceptional child-centred, individualised approach to education from ages 2 to 13. All staff at Marlborough House Vinehall are responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils for whom they are responsible or with whom they come into contact and are expected to adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s Safeguarding policy at all times. 

If, in the course of carrying out the duties of the post, the postholder becomes aware of any actual or potential risk to the safety or welfare of children in the school, s/he must report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
