Fun and Frolics at the Fete

For the fourth consecutive year, the Dunbar fete was blessed with fine weather and there is no doubt that this element is an important success criteria!

As ever, all the Forms came up with a great variety of stalls and it was good to see that those ‘traditional village fete favourites’ of Welly Wanging and Splat the rat were maintained.

There was a lovely atmosphere around the Colts field throughout the afternoon and all for a good cause.  This year, we supported the Kent Association for the Blind and we raised in excess of £750 – a super effort!

The end of the afternoon was rounded off with an Inter-House Tug-of-War where determined facial expressions along the rope were given vociferous support from their Houses.

What a fantastic way to move into half-term!
