Snapshot interview with Kim Weatherly

We thought you might like to get behind the scenes of MHS and hear from some of our non-teaching staff.

Mrs Weatherly has been our Finance Clerk for six years and works in the Bursary. Many of you may know her name but not have met her, so now's your chance to find out a bit more!

Tell us a bit about yourself, what’s your background?

Before joining MHS nearly six years ago, I worked for a local fibreglass planter company. I have an interest in schools and  I am a School Governor for two local Primary Schools, with responsibility for Finance and Safeguarding.

What does your role involve?

I work in the Bursary and a few of my many jobs is to produce the fee invoice, coordinate the schools transport and lettings, and most importantly (to staff anyway) do the payroll!

What’s the best part of your job?

I love working at MHS and it’s a happy place to work in, especially during term time when the wonderful catering team produce amazing lunches!

What are you looking forward to?

I am looking forward to getting to know the new Headmaster Eddy Newton when he starts in September and hearing what new ideas he may have for the school.

What do you do when you are not at MHS?

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, Oscar and Matilda, and socialising with prosecco and friends.

What do you think makes Marlborough House stand out?

Our orange castle! Love it or hate it, it stands out!
