FOMHS Christmas Fund Raising

This has not been your typical MHS Autumn Term and whilst we were still able to run some events specifically for the children, we were thwarted from holding our whole community Bonfire Night Celebrations and Christmas Fair.  It is through these events that the FoMHS raise the majority of our money for our local charities and MHS wish list and to save funds for future events.

I am therefore extremely delighted to announce that from the Christmas Stationery Orders, Auction of Promises and Shopping Event we have raised £2,600.

A special thank you goes to Kelley Selley for organising the Christmas Stationery, Natasha Wells for organising the Auction of Promises and Fi Christie for her sterling work on setting up the Shopping Event.  I would also like to thank Mr Newton for his support in enabling us to go ahead with a variation of the Children’s Christmas Shopping Event and for all the teachers and staff that made it possible on the day.

The FoMHS are looking forward to next term and hopefully a change in social restrictions.  We tentatively have a whole school Coffee Morning and Curry and Quiz Night pencilled in for next term, do keep a look out in the bulletin for further information.  As always, we cannot run these events without the support of our parent body, if anyone wishes to join the committee do get in touch - new members are always welcome!

A final Congratulations to the lucky 16 winners of the Auction of Promises and we wish you all a wonderful Christmas.
