After a 2020 season that was impacted by Covid, we were keen to get lots of rugby played early in the season this year, to get our teams off to a good start with lots of ball handling and running. As a result, MHS hosted a sizeable rugby festival with 17 teams from five schools, playing across six pitches. The groups varied based on the number of teams in that age range, with some groups being triangular, some being quads and some having five teams in their group.

Our U10's A and B and U11's were all represented and were joined by Dulwich Prep School, Ashford Prep School, Sutton Valence Prep School, Claremont Prep School for a great afternoon of rugby, with nearly 40 matches played within the groups.

Each team presented medals for passing, tackling and running to their strongest individuals, but no results were recorded as there were no overall winners or losers.

U11 Team Medallists:

Leo D was awarded Best Tackler

Charles C was awarded Most Improved Player on the day

U10A Team Medallists:

Freddie C was awarded Best Attacking Runner 

Freddie K was awarded Best Tackler

Ralph H was awarded Best Passer

U10B Medallists: 

Ruben N was awarded Best Attacking Runner 

Issac G was awarded Best Tackler

Jasper S was awarded Best Passer
