Friends of MHS Christmas Fair

What a glorious day we had for the FoMHS Christmas Fair!

The event was opened by the Pre-Prep Choir in full Christmas jumper attire and culminated in Christmas Carols and the raffle, drawn by Mr Newton, with our wonderful Registrar Mrs Houchin winning the star prize of the Fortnum & Mason Christmas hamper. In between, there was the opportunity for shopping, eating, drinking, an inflatable assault course, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts as well as a visit to see a very busy Father Christmas.

Our huge thanks go to EVERYONE who volunteered their time, money and efforts to ensure the Fair went ahead.  The Friends are very grateful.

So far, we have raised £1,500 for Nourish Food Bank and £500 for MHS Eco Committee / Forest School. A further £200 was raised by the Year 6 Object D’Art Stall, with all items made and donated by Tessa Riley (grandmother of Charlotte and Isabella B). Year 6 will be nominating their preferred charity to receive this donation.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Mrs Bennett, Chair, The Friends of Marlborough House School
