Well done to all those who took part in this Maths Challenge and especially to those who received awards.
At the beginning of term, ten children from Years 5 to 7 took part in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge. The challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency using mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. The problems are created for Years 5-8 and are designed to make the children think!
We are very proud that many children in the younger years who took part did extremely well. Congratulations especially go to Annabel S and Benjamin L who received a Bronze award and Joel L who received a silver and ‘Best in School’ award.
