Staff Snapshot Interview with Miss Turner

Our Staff Snapshot Interview this week is with Miss Sarah Turner who is an ex-MHS pupil and now a member of our Sports coaching team.

What inspired you to be a teacher?

Wanting to be able to transfer my passion of sports to children and see children excel, develop team skills, determination, competitiveness and most importantly happiness through playing sports.

Tell us about your path into teaching:

I was a PA for several years. I am a qualified BASI 2 ski instructor, a qualified Personal Trainer specialising in obesity & diabetes, life coaching and exercise referral.

What were you like at school?

I was at my happiest when outside playing sports.

What are you most excited about at Marlborough House?

To see the girls progress in their hockey and netball and to be able to transfer my knowledge and skills over to them.

What makes Marlborough House such a special place to be?

Marlborough House is an extremely special place, I had the most wonderful time being a pupil at the school many years ago. They were some of the happiest years of my life so far and I look forward to giving back to the school in the form of a sports coach.
