Our Year 6 singers had a wonderful time at Sing! at Eastbourne College.
The day started with some energetic warm ups, followed by working on singing in harmony. We then launched into our concert pieces including Somewhere Only We Know, The Wellerman and Oh Taste and See, which was commissioned especially for the Queen's coronation and performed again at her funeral last week.
Our children certainly did Marlborough House proud, they were polite, enthusiastic and sang beautifully. To learn five pieces from scratch and perform to an audience at the end of the day was no easy feat, but one that triumphed! A great time was had by all.
