An early season ski holiday to Crans Montana in Switzerland for sixteen of our children was a huge success with a wonderful week of activities and six hours of skiing each day for the six days on the slopes.
The group learnt a huge amount and there was snow on the higher reaches with plenty of mid-mountain ski terrain to test everyone, this year for the first time they weren't able to ski right down back to the resort. Special activities took place in the evenings with bowling, Ice skating, a trip to watch the latest Avatar movie, a music quiz night and a great evening snow shoeing and eating marshmallows over an open fire in the woods was truly memorable. Added to these were brilliant art evenings and cooking sessions, all in all a very busy and exciting week!
As always, the instructors and staff at Les Elfes in Crans Montana were outstanding, with brilliant lessons for all the skiers from beginners to advanced taking place each day and the whole mountain being used to encourage the children at all levels. Thank you to Mrs Townsend and Mr Little who helped make the week run so smoothly.
