In January, an action-packed Mathematical Monday caused great excitement in Pre-Prep.
The children met up in their Houses (Egan, Dunbar, Awdry and Hawkings) to engage in some fantastic fun challenges linking to Maths. Two Year 2 children in each House took responsibility for helping the younger children, whilst Maths Ambassadors from Year 7 supported some of the activities for the Pre-Prep children to engage in. From using Bee-Bots to learn about positional language to measuring how tall they are using metre tapes, a 2D shape hunt involving our wonderful grounds and learning more about capacity when filling up containers using coloured water, it was an exciting and action-packed morning for Pre-Prep!
