Year 2 enjoyed an action-packed trip to Drusillas at the end of January.
The day began with an educational talk about penguins and then the children had a chance to touch and meet a milk snake and a chinchilla.
Next it was the penguins' feeding time so we went to watch them being fed and learnt new facts about what they eat.
After this we looked around the rest of the zoo and revelled in the opportunity to observe meerkats, anteaters, beavers and porcupines. A wonderful day for all!
