The Inter-House Chess Tournament was a huge success with competitors from Year 2 to Year 8 playing some exciting games against friends from different year groups. 165 games of chess were played in the competition, which was split into a junior and senior round-robbin.

Arthur C, Year 5, in Dunbar with four wins
Rafferty P, Year 6, in Awdry with five wins
Player of the competition: Head Boy Dexter H, Year 8, in Dunbar with six wins
House points were awarded for all winning games and the Inter-House Chess Trophy now has the overall winners, 'Dunbar 2023', proudly engraved on it!
