Pre-Prep's English Extravaganza

Once again, there was huge excitement in Pre-Prep as the children met up in their Houses to engage in our English Extravaganza morning as part of Book Week.

With the definition of extravaganza being “elaborate and spectacular entertainment”, our activities were very apt.  High Frequency word water pistol targets, digraph hopscotch, word Bingo, communication games, synonym and antonym matching activities and nursery rhymes as we danced around the maypole for a bit of ‘ribbon and rhyme’, made for a very happy morning.  It was lovely to have Mrs Webb, our Pre-Prep Governor, join in with the fun too.
