A huge congratulations to the 11 members of the MHS Equestrian Team who represented the School at the NSEA National Grass Roots Championships at Hickstead, competing against up to 140 schools from across the nation.
The children looked very smart in their new kit and did us proud with their perseverance, resilience and great team spirit. The results are as follows:
40cm Team (Matilda M, Wilbur C and Thea A): placed 12th and all were placed individually.
50cm Team (Jack G, Tara B and Erin C): Tara placed 8th individually out of 52 contestants. Jack was recognised for his brilliant riding.
60cm Teams: Team Yellow (Eliza F, Emma E, Eliza B and Erin C) placed 5th. Team Red (Annabel J, Emma G, Eliza B and Zoe C) placed 12th.
70cm Teams: Team Blue (Emma E, Eliza F, Eliza B and Zoe C) placed 5th. A special mention to Zoe C who rode an incredible round missing the fastest time, out of over 120 competitors, by only .25 of a second. Team Orange (Annabel J, Eliza B and Emma) placed 6th.
