We were delighted to welcome parents to our Harvest Festival. Donations were gratefully received, prayers were read and children from Years 1 - 8 performed; a really energetic and uplifting experience for all involved.
Years 1 and 2 kicked-off proceedings with an old classic, Big Red Combine Harvester, before Years 3 and 4 demonstrated their movement skills with a choreographed version of “Thank Your Little Stars”. We were delighted that Isabella B (drums) and Jesse C (electric guitar) led the Year 6 band, who accompanied all of Years 5 and 6 children singing “Let’s Harvest”. Years 7 and 8 chose to rap and sing to bring our wonderful celebration to a close.
Our thanks to Dawn from Nourish, who kindly joined us for the celebration and shared an important message about caring for those in our local community, resonating with our focus on ‘Valuing Self and Others’.
