Huge congratulations to the four members of the MHS Equestrian Team who represented the School at the NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) National Championships at Addington and came an incredible Team 2nd in their class.
This is the first time the MHS team have qualified for the National Championships – a big achievement in itself. This competition is the pinnacle of the NSEA calendar with over 1000 competitors representing schools from up and down the country. The MHS team of Eliza B, Zoe C, Emma G and Annabel J and their ponies Dizzie, Wizz, Ash and Beech qualified in both the Show Jumping and Arena Eventing classes.
We are so proud of their achievement in the 75cm Arena Eventing class – this technical competition is a combination of Show Jumps and Cross Country Jumps and the rider is judged on Riding Style as well as being marked on penalties and time. To come away with a team 2nd was an amazing result and a true testament to the teams' hard work and determination.
A special mention to Eliza B who rode an incredible round and came 2nd Individually out of over 90 competitors.
