Extra art and drama classes for Years 7 and 8 launched this term, as part of our individualised learning opportunities for Seniors. These weekly, optional arts sessions take place within the School day, enabling our budding artists and actors to do more of what makes them tick; further developing their creative passions and interests.
In art, pupils have been learning about Gerhard Richter, successfully adopting his technique for creating abstract art. Whilst the drama group have been having a lot of fun with improvisation - encouraging pupils to think on their feet and collaborate as the scenes they are creating unfold in real-time.
