MHS support The Salvation Army

Year 8 visited The Salvation Army in Hastings to deliver the huge number of children's gift bags that were generously donated by the Marlborough House community. Whilst with the charity, they were filmed by BBC South East sorting presents and making up additional gift bags.

We are incredibly proud of the Year 8s, who have demonstrated both dedication and service over the past month. They visited every classroom in the school to talk to pupils about the gift bag appeal, they then helped sort the donations with the support of Head of English Mrs Henderson and Deputy Head Mrs Archer and they put a lot of care and thought into their work at the charity.

Thank you to all those who donated a children's gift bag and helped us to be a part of The Salvation Army's special Christmas appeal.
