The Art, DT and Music departments joined forces with the Spanish department to celebrate the “Día de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead).
Under expert guidance from Mrs McNamara and Mr Everest, Years 7 and 8 enjoyed making beautifully creative masks and almost made Mrs McEwan deaf with their fantastic musical performances!
After a delicious snack of “pan de muerto” (Mexican bread similar to brioche) and hot chocolate, the children watched the brilliant “Book of Life”, which illustrated superbly the theme of the day. The fun and enjoyment was palpable throughout the celebration.
