Anti-Bullying WEek

This week, our school participated in Anti-Bullying Week with a focus on the theme "Choose Respect."

Prep

Throughout the week, pupils engaged in meaningful activities to explore what respect means in our school community and in their personal lives.

We had assemblies and chapel sessions dedicated to the theme, where students were invited to reflect on the importance of respect in creating a kind, inclusive environment. In PSHE lessons, each class created "Respect Charters," where students collaborated to define and commit to respectful behaviour, both in school and beyond.

To bring our ideas to life, we decorated a "Tree of Respect." Each child contributed a colourful leaf with their thoughts on what respect means to them, creating a vibrant display of the values we share. Additionally, our Year 7 and 8 students took part in creating a "Chain of Respect," where they linked together pledges and statements of positive, respectful actions. This powerful visual reminds us that each individual contributes to a respectful school community.

Through these activities, we reinforced that choosing respect is a daily commitment we all make to each other, creating a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Pre-Prep

This Anti-Bullying Week, our Pre-Prep children embraced the theme "Choose Respect" through thoughtful discussions and activities centred on kindness and empathy. In class, the children shared ideas on what respect means and explored ways to show it in their everyday actions. Year 1 even crafted friendship bracelets as a symbol of unity and support for one another. We are so proud of the compassion and kindness our Pre-Prep children show each day—it truly shines through!
